Signing of a Memorandum of Understanding between the International Federation of Municipalities’ Sports & Tourism (IFMST) and the Minifootball Five International Federation (MFIF)
In line with the development of international cooperation in the fields of sports, tourism, and sports diplomacy, a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between the International Federation of Municipalities’ Sports & Tourism (IFMST) and the Minifootball Five International Federation (MFIF).
The MoU aims to strengthen international collaboration, promote both grassroots and elite sports, support joint sports and tourism events, facilitate the exchange of knowledge and professional expertise, and maximize the mutual capacities of the two federations.
Under the terms of the agreement, both parties will cooperate in planning and organizing international competitions and festivals, conducting educational and professional training programs, promoting sports tourism, supporting joint initiatives, and strengthening communication among their members and affiliated organizations.
During the signing ceremony, Dr. Mohammad Eshghi, President of IFMST, and Dr. Karim Moghaddam, President of MFIF, described the agreement as a significant step toward enhancing the role of sport in sustainable development, fostering cultural exchange among nations, and creating new opportunities for the advancement of sports and municipal sports tourism.
The implementation of this Memorandum of Understanding is expected to pave the way for international joint events, increase the participation of municipal institutions in sports activities, and strengthen strategic cooperation between the two federations in the years ahead.
