By the order of the President of the International Federation of Municipalities’ Sports & Tourism (IFMST) and with the approval of the Board of Directors, the IFMST International Academy has been officially launched. This academy aims to enhance academic and educational standards in the fields of sports, wellness, tourism, and sustainable urban development, providing a platform for professional training of coaches, city managers, and enthusiasts in sports and tourism at an international level.
In this regard, Dr. Towhid Khanvari has been appointed as the Chairman of the IFMST Academy.
The main objectives of the IFMST International Academy include:
•Training specialized and professional personnel in the fields of sports, health, and urban tourism.
•Designing and implementing international courses and workshops according to global standards.
•Offering professional coaching courses in various urban and general sports disciplines, including football, volleyball, basketball, badminton, table tennis, wellness sports, and more, with internationally recognized certification.
•Enhancing managerial and technical skills in urban sports and sustainable tourism.
By leveraging up-to-date knowledge and international experience, the IFMST International Academy seeks to establish modern educational standards, develop scientific infrastructures in sports and urban tourism, and train professional international coaches, playing a significant role in advancing the Federation’s objectives globally.
