Londrina was officially recognized by the International Federation of Municipalities’ Sport and Tourism (IFMST) as a “Sports-friendly city” In an official ceremony, the International Active City Certificate was awarded by Ms. Rodrigues, the official representative of IFMST, in Brazil to the Honorable Mayor of Londrina , Mr. Tiago Amaral.
This prestigious title was awarded in recognition of the city’s Development of physical activity and promotion of citizenship sports culture of awareness .
Honorable Mayor of Londrina , Mr. Tiago Amaral, expressed her gratitude and stated: “This achievement is the result of the collective city managers, and municipal employees. We are committed to maintaining and expanding this success in the future.”
At the end of the ceremony, the Mayor released a message, thanking the IFMST team, describing this recognition as a milestone on Londrina path to sustainable urban development.
