Conditions of participation in Sri Lanka Heritage Kite International Air Show 2024- (SHLIKA 24)

*Guidelines for Kite Makers at SLHIKA 2024*
*Theme* : World Peace and Harmony / Sri Lankan Heritage

*Do’s:*
1) Promote Positivity: Design kites celebrating peace, harmony, and cultural unity.
2) Universal Values: Use symbols and messages reflecting universal values.
3) Safety Compliance: Ensure safe kite design and construction; subject to RAKA (Ravana Aviation Kite Association) evaluations.
4) Collaboration: Work with organizers to meet safety and thematic guidelines.
5) Pre-Approval: Get kite designs approved by RAKA before the event.
*Don’ts:*
1) Avoid Conflicts: No references to “War,” specific countries, or national leaders.
2) Do not use any kind of racist, religious words or symbols
3) Political figures or parties: Do not use images, party logos or names of political figures.
4) Unsafe Materials: Avoid materials or designs posing safety risks.
*Additional Guidelines:*
1) Safety Evaluations: All kites need to get approved ground safety evaluations by RAKA.
2) Design Approval: Kites must align with the event’s theme and safety standards.
*Please note that kites that violate these rules will not be allowed to fly and the decision of the judging panel is final.*
